Life of a Matchstick

Like a regular wooden box that comes in various sizes and brands,we often take this good old one for granted and use an alternative that would make our life more easier and that is a lighter which is honestly way more efficient to use for our daily lives.

But a small old matchbox works wonders compared to a modern lighter. Break it and there goes spilling all the liquefied fluid out of the container leaving you with nothing.  A matchbox contains a hundred or more matchsticks, break one and there goes another and so on. Got soak up by water, dry it up, still it will ignite and give you that tiny fire.

The matchbox is the earth or a home let’s say and we are the little matchsticks inside. Hone for several months, secured and cared till we are fully ready for the outside world but growing up and who we wanna become depends on us .Now being the matchsticks, there are differences and variation among us. There are the thin and frail, thin yet sturdy, fat but weak, fat and sturdy, the headless one, the thick coated head but useless and wouldn’t even fire up, a wooden stick with such a tiny amount of head and the perfect looking one. As these represents us, take your pick of who you think you are.

Now who would you think would have the best and first fire to light up?! For sure you would go for the perfect looking one of course.

But the fire produce does not depend much on the amount of product the head of the matchstick have but it’s to who uses it and how they would probably make it work to produce fire. If one pick out a perfect matchstick but accidentally break it because of being heavy handed, for sure that person would pick out another. “Hey! there are still a lot more of you here.”

So remember, if you think you are not that perfect one or either anyone of you are the other matchstick then think again. You have a purpose and that is to light up or fire up. You might be small, weak or sickly but you can create a huge fire! You just need something to help you out, a motivation or inspiration to help you keep moving or to push you to make it better. Take it also to experiences that you have encountered because they say,” charge it all to experience” or “Experience is the best teacher” and definitely it’s really true! Grab that confidence and get out of your comfort zone and so people can see your light and how bright you can become.

It’s not on where and what kind of person people see who you are but it’s who you really truly think you are and your purpose in life.

Ending my blog with a quote I got from google ♥

“At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each one of us has cause to think deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.”
