For the longest time I have been eyeing to visit this place since it opened last Nov 18 and yes finally I did and with that I’m gonna share with you what this place have!
First and foremost, the complete set of their name is “ Olivia’s kitchen and Island brew” which is a Filipino Restaurant and a Coffee shop, situated at San Miguel Jordan Guimaras and for sure it’s not that hard to find because the structure itself is just beside the main road. Both are not exactly situated together because the coffee shop is what you’re gonna see first as you arrive or pass by the place and the restaurant itself is located at the back. The buildings exterior and interior have a vintagy concept to it not to mention the knick knacks they have are very unique and yes old school that gives this place a different atmosphere to it. The place is very “INSTAGRAMMABLE‘! LIKE EVERY CORNER TO IT!
Staffs are very accommodating and kind from the time we arrive outside, ordered our food and served. They even open some of the light so that it would be bright enough for me to take some photos. I also notice that there is no music being played which is ok with me because I don’t have to compete with the music during a conversation.
For such a fine dining place, we might think that prices are on the expensive side and yes, hesitation will push through but it’s the total opposite! They offer food and beverages that ranges up to 300 Php with a very good and neat presentation.
Just look how huge that plate of “Oliver’s Pork Ribs With Java Rice” that cost for only 249 Php. It’s very satisfying that you wouldn’t regret having one for yourself! The meat is so soft,it melts easily in your mouth. Blueberry Banana Smoothie for 150 Php and Cucumber calamansi for 69 Php.
Another thing that is very important to me is having a clean restroom. Yes! it’s a must and a necessity somehow to have a proper and clean place to do your stuff and their lavatory surprised me! Like the first thing that came out of my mouth when I enter is ” WOOOOOOAAAAH!” For REAL! They have ornaments and frames that looks expensive and I absolutely love it! They have two wash room, the other one is located inside together with the toilets. Now shame on you if you even think of not disposing your trash and soiled stuff properly.
I am so so so happy that we get to have a new place to check out or have a different taste of food here at our place. Now my verdict.
*The place is very accessible and convenient even for those who have their car with them.
*Cleanliness and orderliness is on point.
*Thumbs up for such a very kind and hospitable crew.
*With a back up generator in case of brownout like what I have experience.
*For the food and the price, “you get what you paid for”. take it positively with a rate of 10.
*will I check it out again or refer it to a friend? POSITIVELY IT’S A YES! not exaggerating but will do.
